How is the Sky Is Blue… (And Why It’s Okay Not to Have All the Answers)

Truth be told I still don’t fully understand why the sky is blue.I know the science i've heard it 100 times — something about Rayleigh scattering, shorter blue wavelengths, and how light interacts with the atmosphere. I’ve read the explanations. But if I’m honest, when I stand outside and look up, my heart still whispers, “But… why does it feel like we are inside a bubble?”
But the more I ask, there’s just something beautifully humbling about that.

For the longest time, I thought I needed to have answers for everything. I believed that if I could just understand it all, I would finally have a answer that gave me clarity.
But life doesn’t always hand us neat explanations does it, the sun quietly warming us, imagine asking why and I finally understood I had the wrong question.
Some days the sky is the softest pastels of pink and orange.
Other days it’s stormy grey.
And many days, I simply don’t know why things are the way they are.
And I’m learning that’s okay.
There is a quiet kind of freedom in admitting, “I don’t have all the answers.” It softens the pressure we put on ourselves. It gives our minds permission to rest instead of constantly searching for meaning in every step. It reminds us that not knowing doesn’t make us lost — it makes us human.
So, I’ve started to fall in love with the unknown.
When I look up at that endless blue, I remember that some of the most beautiful things in life don’t need to be fully understood to be fully felt. The warmth of my children’s laughter. The peace that comes after a good laugh. The gentle hope that shows up even after everything fell apart. These things don’t always come with explanations — they come with presence much like our endless sky, moon, stars & sun.
So if you’re in a season where you’re searching for answers that haven’t arrived yet… this is your gentle reminder:
You don’t need to solve your entire life today.

You don’t need to understand every chapter of your story right now.

It’s okay to sit with the mystery.
It’s okay to let the sky just be blue.
Some answers will come with time and you will keep growing, healing, and finding beauty in new ways.
Today, I invite you to look up. Really look up. Let the sky remind you that wonder and peace can exist even when things don’t make complete sense.
Because maybe the point isn’t always to understand everything.

Maybe the point is to stay open, soft, and curious — even when we don’t have the words.
until we find the answer.
Keep your adventure going
