Closing the Door: Their Lesson, My Blessing 💫
Share
There comes a moment when you finally whisper the words you’ve been holding for too long: “Goodbye.”
Not out of anger. Not out of revenge. But out of deep, sacred love — for yourself.
Past relationships can leave scars that feel impossible to ignore. The hurt, the abuse, the broken promises… they echo louder than the good times sometimes. But today, I’m choosing something different. I’m choosing to close that dark door for good.
Their lesson is my blessing.
Every time they mishandled my heart, every time they chose harm over care, every time they walked away from the love I poured out so freely — they taught me something priceless. They showed me what I will never accept again. They revealed my own strength in surviving what I thought would break me.
So I’m letting their mistakes become my freedom.
I’m closing the door. Not slamming it in rage, but gently shutting it with grace and finality. Behind that door stays the pain, the manipulation, the nights I cried wondering what I did wrong. I’m no longer carrying their baggage into my future.
I’m breathing in. Deeply. Slowly. The future is wide open in front of me, glowing with possibility. Fresh air. New chapters. A heart that’s ready to be renovated — not just repaired, but expanded.
Healing isn’t linear, beautiful soul. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is a stronger, wiser, more radiant heart. Rebuilding after love that failed will take time. There will be days of grief that sneak up on you. Waves of sadness. Moments where the old wounds feel fresh again.
That’s okay. That’s human.
This is your heart renovation season.
What they broke is now your blank canvas. What they damaged is now space for something more beautiful — deeper love, healthier boundaries, softer self-talk, and relationships that feel like peace instead of war.
Thank you to the ones who hurt me. Thank you for the hard lessons wrapped in pain. Because of you, I now know my worth. Because of you, I choose better. Because of you, I am becoming the woman who no longer dims her light for anyone.
This is my blessing. Even through the tears, even in the slow process of healing — this is my blessing.
So here’s to closing doors with love. Here’s to breathing in the future. Here’s to heart expansion.
You’ve got this. I’ve got this. We’ve got this. 🌷
over & out (till next time)
